Mulling over LEE LOFASO to ALL 10 Aug 2003

Well, it sounds good, but it is not in my copy of the Koran ["recital"],
which renders Surah 9:11 as: "If they repent and take to prayer and pay
the alms-tax, they shall become your brothers in the faith. Thus we make
plain Our revelations for men of understanding."

I am guessing that the above is 9:11, as my copy doesn't have every
verse marked, only every 3rd or 4th verse, but nothing between 9:8 and
9:13 inclusive refers to an eagle or its wrath. Again, Surah 11:9
makes no mention of an eagle or its wrath.
