"DIRECTLY TO"

This is what I was rebutting. To state that every verse *directly*
written to the reader is either a false statement or a poor choice of
words. "Written" is the qualifier which argues against your "I am
talking about here IS a hermenutical [sic] principle." The Spirit may
either directly or indirectly relate a passage to our situation, but it
was not "written directly" to us. This sort of reductionism dismisses
the intent of the writer entirely. It dismisses the plan of God as
well in that it was "in the fullness of time" that all the NT writers
wrote to audiences in the 1st C.

Back to our Heb 6 passage, it cannot have primary/direct application to
the believer today. There is neither a temple nor temple sacrifices so
at best, you can only draw secondary application. How "direct" is
that?

Now if you were more careful in you wordage and state that the Holy
Spirit speaks directly to us through the Scriptures, that is very much
different. But to state that they are "written directly" to us is
something very much different.

Perhaps your intend was the later, but your words did not direct the
reader to interprete it as such.
