It seems to me that wrestling fans on this board...and those who have 
signed this petition...just don't get it.

WWE is doing a perfect job catering to their target market and it's NOT us.

Yes, we watch, yes, we buy the PPV's...but we don't buy ALL the PPV's. 
We don't buy their merchandise. We're not subscribing to their 
magazines. We're not calling their hotlines. For that matter, we don't 
make up the majority of those who go to the matches.

This stuff is being done by the younger teenagers, between 12 and 15. 
They go to the cards whenever they can. They buy ALL the ppv's 
religiously. And where the real money is...they buy the 20 dollar foam 
hats, the posters, the programs, the shirts, the merchandise.

(Remember Yogurt's wise adage from Spaceballs, where the real money is - 
"Moichandising".)

We watch the stuff on TV, we go on the internet for our info...but we're 
not where they're making the profit from. From those who DO give them 
their profit, many are very happy with the product, love the wrestlers, 
love what they see on their TV. That's who WWE, and most wrestling, is 
REALLY for...and that's why WWE stands the test of time where those 
catered towards us do not...because we're a losing market profit-wise.
