Oh, if I'm asked to leave I'll comply, even politely. I will also politely
tell them of the liability that they could incur if someone were injured
during an armed robbery as well as all the business they'll lose from me and
anybody else that I can convince to not shop there. Once they ask you to
leave, and you =do=, what can they do to you? You obeyed them and are no
longer trespassing.

You might want to inform the "uncomfortable" customer that they're
statistically in better hands that if a cop was there. About 10% less likely
to be shot by mistake and any crimes are about 10% more likely to be stopped
by an armed civilian than by cops.
DRN>> You're right about criminal trespass, see ARS 13-1502, A.
 DRN>> 1.
LK>> They can nail you on this only if you refuse to leave.
DRN> Or if you enter in spite of the sign. As I said, if you
DRN> don't see the sign, there could be a problem. The sign
DRN> is the same as being requested to leave, entering anyway
 DRN> puts you in violation.
Again, I'd politely ask them to show me the sign and I'll politely show them
the =unmarked= door that I came in through. :-) Can't have it both ways,
IMHO. Either don't mark any doors or make damn sure that =all= doors or
entrances are marked. Once they show me a sign I'll leave and take my
business elsewhere. I'd also hope I'd leave a very full shopping basket of
stuff that I =wouldn't= buy and that they'd then have to re-stock. Only
person madder than the manager would probably be my wife 'cause she'd have to
go shopping all over again. :-)
