In reality, that might have a dramatic effect. Gang membership is all about 
respect. Home turf being "Pansy Street" just might be enough embarrassment 
for the gang to move.  I think that I do remember a story about this 
area, and it was infested with gang problems. This might also say something 
about the citizens who live in the area who did nothing to assist the police. 
There are many charges that require a citizen to sign on the dotted line. In 
a gang infested neighborhood, this might take more courage than some would 
think.
