I don't know what you mean by "IE's helper load". Simply, if firefox =
startup is slower than IE's then it is not as efficient. The firefox =
folks should optimize it, at least if it is important to them.

Thanks for that info. If DLLs actually constitute the bulk of IE's =

load, and you're not just playing semantics with us, Microsoft is =
using some
good filesystem optimizations in its load process. IE's load time is =
not just
dramatically shorter, it's nearly an order of magnitude shorter =
(haven't
measured it).
