FC/2 easy highlight the self extracting file then use the key
combination of ctrl pgdn voila the files are listed and ready for
extracting. I use it quite often here.
Not as elegant as my old DOS Stand by SHEZ but it does the job. I got
spoiled with SHEZ so therefore all file commanders are hard pressed to
match it, I used SHEZ to the "n"th degree on my old system,
practically did everything with it. The only problem I had after
moving to OS/2 was that SHEZ choked and all emails to see if he would
revamp it a bit and update SHEZ author were NOT answered, too bad for
me. INSPECTA I never could get my mind wrapped around it. I used to
use mfm to manage my FILES.BBS on my old system, Shez to do the rest.
TODAY I use FC/2 and a file manager for ADEPT to do my FILES.BBS
stuff.
Hope this helps. Keep us posted.
We are a fine board trying to make it better.
