I just don't think that The X-Men really fitted in with the TREK Universe.  
Perhaps a character like Thor or Dr. Strange would be more practicle, but 
even that would be a bit akward!  I don't recall Marvel having any 23rd 
Century, or 24th Century Heroes, but if I was to do a Trek/Marvel Character 
x-over, I would use descendants or successors of that time era.
 
I think Silver Surfer/Star Trek would make for an interesting story!
