That's the way I have my laptop configured. I always log on as local all
the time, and when I'm connected to the office network, my user
name/password is the same, and all the network resources are there. Also
works when I connect remotely via the VPN. As soon as I log into the VPN,
I can access all remote resources, and network mapped drives appear and are
available.
