From the name and description it sounds like Ichtioftiriosis. It manifests
itself with white dots all over a fishes body. Relatively easy to cure (I
always
used malachite green) and it does show up in new tanks often since it attacks
weak fish, and everyone knows the cycling period is hard for fish.
