   Amen to that. I can only pity those who think that this was really a joke.

   They surely need to widen their horizon considerably if they want to join
our international community. Something that unfortunately doesn't seem to be
high on the agenda for a few of our US friends.

   Now that even Burma and Liberia have decided to adopt the metric system, the
USA is the last country in the world to stubbornly hang on to their body
related measurements (inches, feet, Fahrenheit and so on).
