Been telling folks Doc's Place made it OK but didn't know if you'd taken the BBS down. Even tried telneting your BBS to see if you left it be but gathered you'd taken it down. EK> Feel sorry for those that were in the storms path. Massave damage EK> down there! Yeah so do I, saw the morning coverage from Punta Gorda on upwards the path of the storm. Had that storm hit here CAT 4 as it did down south of here this quadplex would have been history. I figured out I was going to make it about three hours before it was supposed to begin hitting here. I was using the GOES east coast satellite imaging real time at www.bbsr.edu/Weather/satellite.html A really good site for visual and infrared real time satellite imaging (they're geostationary). --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5a* Origin: BBS Networks {at} www.bbsnets.com 808-839-6036 (1:10/345) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 10/345 106/1 2000 633/267 |
