Are there any decent message editors that can run with Maximus 3.01 ?
I've already tried MSGED, and I don't really like it.  I just need one that 
can read and write to Fido (*.MSG) and Squish bases.  If there are any 
freeware / PD ones with source code, that would be great.  I would have 
written one in MEX, but AFAIK there are no message control commands in there. 
 Can't even read the fields for a particular message, which is why I am 
turning to an external solution.
