Lawyers are no better, or worse than any other profession.  What matters 
is how they are used.  Unfortunately, there has been a lot of abuse of 
the legal system, mostly due to greedy and spiteful claimants, but also 
partly due to greedy and unethical lawyers.  On the whole, I think 
doctors are more ethical as a group, but cause more damage in general.
