Have you done anything with the proposal since it has been submitted? Here's
what a search on ftsc.org comes up with:

Rather than big dealing the proposal, why don't we cover all the bickering and
arguing in the FTSC echo when it comes time to raise said proposal to a
standard. Unless you and the rest of the FTSC were planning on making it a
standard right away, bypassing the proposal stage? I didn't think that was how
things worked, though.. which is why I'm submitting said proposal in it's
original form rather than editing it for yours and Wilfred's needs only for it
to be a proposal.
