-=> Quoting Bj”rn Forsstr”m to Steven Horn <=- SH> we had our first snow here last night BF> No snow here yet but I feel in my toe that it's on it's way. BF> All leaf hasn't fallen of yet so now it's very coulourful in the BF> woods. The first snow have already fallen in nort Sweden Yellowknife had it's first snowfall Sept. 14th but it melted away quickly. It's been warm and nice ever since. We pulled everything we could from our little garden Sept. 15th. Even the tomatoes and the lettuce were fine. The day it snowed it was still about plus 4C. We didn't have a hard frost until later in the month which is unusual for around here. We also transplanted one plant each of oregano, basil, chocolate mint, lavender, rosemary and thyme into pots and brought them indoors so we still have a garden on the windowsill. Cheers, YK Jim ... I am Canadian so I use my snowblower year round. ___ Blue Wave/386 v2.30 [NR] --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 123/140 500 106/2000 633/267 |
