I don't recall if you need the Re-archiving option (ArcType in file areas)
defined or not for this, but you would definatly need your Archivers defined
under Elconfig > options > files > archivers.

I always used an external upload scanner, as in addition to rearchiving it
allows the files to be virus scanned, and even checked for a renamed
duplicates  and showed the user the results each step as it's processing.
You can define an external upload scanner in Elconfig > options > files >
upload scans.

The last one I used was Pete Rocas "Upcheck" using this command line:
C:\BBS\UPCHECK\UPCHECK.EXE EXITINFO.BBS {at} *N *M

Some other good ones I've used are Skullcheck, MTA, THD, and ZipLab,
(ZipLab was one of the first available, and required some extra work to
make it think that pcBoard was running). These and several other external
