 Yes, I appreciated this fact very much...He was a year sober when I met
 and married him...so I never "knew" him in his addiction. Therefore I
 didn't have a lot of the other type of problems that people do when their
 spouce is drinking...We had a good marriage for almost 6 years...and that
 is perhaps more than some people have married much longer...
 As for participation...you could just tell a little about yourself. What
 you were like before or how things are for you now...or if there are any
 problems you would like to discuss...there are lots of things to talk 
 about....:) Just say what ever comes to mind....

 That is wonderful....each time I hear things like this, I feel very good
 inside...I know how hard it is to stay sober...a day at a time...because
 of my husband...I do not have a problem with drinking or drugs but I have
 been around enough people that have these problems and have seen how hard
 they work to stay sober...they need to have people like you to look at and
 realize that it can be done...
 As for worrying about my "well earned rest"...don't...The way I see it is
 that when it is my time to die, I will have my well earned rest...until
 then, I wish to do whatever it is that I can...so babble away....
