I costs me +/- $200. a month for hay, shavings, feed, and other essentials.
So, if you're boarding two horses at a $300. a mo. barn, and getting full
board, I don't think you're doing too badly. That's only a $200. profit (and
that doesn't include the owner's electricity, water, taxes, etc.) So, barely
breaking even at $300. a mo. sounds about right to me! Sorry, John, I know
you wanted to hear otherwise......
