Hello Rachel,

JT>> Let's have a look at today's paper. (shuffle shuffle) Oh, here
JT>> we are, a couple had their car carjacked in redfern, and found
JT>> it burnt out a short time later minus a few tools, a handbag and
JT>> a small amount of cash.

RLA> Yep I saw that story when we were down there. AFAIC they were bloody
RLA> fools taking a late model car into a known problem area, & bloody
RLA> lucky to get away with their lives. I'd love to see some idiot being
 RLA> charged with incitment.

Yes, that's what I was saying. A few days ago, we were driving through
redfern on the way home (late at night), and the driver mentioned we were
going to pass that speedhump that they removed because the boongs were
running up to cars that were slowing down for it.
Anyway, there was another car in front of us, and when we got to that speed
hump/crossing that was removed, the car in front slowed down anyway. In the
meantime, our driver was yelling "LOCK THE DOORS, LOCK THE DOORS!"

RLA> Honestly it's about as smart as standing on top of a hill during a
RLA> lighting storm, wearing copper armour, screaming "all the gods are
 RLA> bastards".

Sorta like slowing down for a non-existent speed hump in redfern at night?

RLA> Can't remember the charges, but the 14 girl screemed "Oink"
RLA> at a police car. The magistrate chastised the police
RLA> 'cause he could think of many more things to charge
 RLA> her with.
RLA> But we all know the legal "system" here is stuffed....

I think they changed this a while back. Now you can refer to the police as
"pigs", but it depends on tone of voice.
