But doesn't this entire "co general manager" schtick remind you of the 
stupid Flair and McMahon "co owner" schtick that they had to get rid of 
because it stank (stunk?)?  What makes them think this will work out 
any better?

Yeah, they could do that, or they could do a Randy Savage/Miss Elizabeth 
type of plot line, or even a Nicola Roberts/Gino Hernandez one--but not, 
I hope, anything resembling Baby Doll.
