My experience with gated RSS is not that flash, many result in URLs, which are
fiddly to read from a FTN environment (manual copy/paste).  But yeah, you've
effectively locked me out of the forum without gating, I don't handle those
things well. :(

That doesn't really help me for reading, though it might increase the odds I
run into links to the content on social media.
