Hi Richard,
On 16 Feb'98, at 19:48, in a message to Walter Luffman, you wrote this
about "Compuserve":

Acually, the interest in the Internet is what's killing BBS's. I ran a
BBS for about 6 years. I closed it last April because of lack of calls,
and the expense wasn't worth it. As you see, I'm still hanging out on
BBS's. The Internet E-Mail beats BBS Network BBS's hands down. Some
users prefer the loose E-Mail rules as opposed to the strict rules in
the BBS echos. Also, some BBS actually charge a fee, and that's where
the internet is better, since it offers more for your money, AND like
one of my accounts, internet access can be FREE of charge in certain
cases.
