I NEVER reply to a spam - period!

I use MailWasher to delete and bounce the spam messages.
Until very recently the messages were bounced. Within
the last few weeks -3-4 many bounced spams come up with
"no such address" or words to that effect or my ISP will not
send messages to that address.

At about the same time as this started my ISP offered spam
filtering. I have to check, but I guess that is the cause -
maybe I'd be better off using my ISP's spam offering.
