On or about 12-12-05 17:16, George Pope did engage James Bradley

GP> On (11 Dec 05) James Bradley wrote to George Pope...
JB> Do you ever wince when someone holds back a sneeze?

 GP> No, ain't MY problem. . .

ROTF!!! Ya, but if you *care* about the person...

JB> GP> My philosophy is "Moderation in all things. . . INCLUDING
 JB> Moderation!"
JB> If you say you'd try anything once, I'd call you a lier.

GP> Why? You don't know me that well!

I can only assume you haven't stabbed yourself so hard to break a bone, dropped
a 35 pound blunt knife on your foot, or almost stabbed yourself in the heart.

Should I make more suppositions?

 JB> Try Ensure. Last week, 12 for $14 at a grocer's.

GP> Tried it -- too chalky a taste for me!

There is that. I tend to milk my coffee with it, or include it in a banana
milkshake. But, I've never been adverse to drinking it in a glass. I never
drink from the tin anymore. Kinda like licking a battery to me.

JB> Heck, when mom made apple pie, dad and I would have one and a half
JB> gone before supper. I can truly call you a light-weight!

GP> I ran a video game arcade in Northern Ontario one winter, and my boss'
GP> wife knew I liked my sweets so she'd send with my dinner, each day, a
 GP> real dessert (a half-whole pie, a cake, a dozen cookies/doughnuts/etc.)

One winter, my work had me shut in a room for thirteen hours a day. Part of the
contract included a hot meal for that cruel and unusual punishment. Christmas
came, and nobody was open. Little Mormon girl, unrequested shows up for work
with a plate FULL of dinner for me.

 JB> Who cares?
GP> Just the rare few who do. . .

As long as the world turns...
