Of course MS does not sell general-purpose computers the way Apple does.
That's why what I said, that MS does not force you to use their own
hardware, like apple currently does, and artificially so with the x86-based
macs, is true. If Apple started allowing you to install OS X on generic x86
boxes, you can bet they would instate some sort of copy protection the way
MS does with Windows.
