From: "Glenn Meadows"

Scan for spyware and such?

Did you install with a full or upgrade version? What options do you see
when you pop in the XP install disk? Does the dialog box offer an
"upgrade" install?

I just did that on the "bosses" laptop at work, as his XP Pro on
his Dell Latitude was getting a bit "wooly". I had made a
slipstreamed SP2 install disk from our original XP disk, and used that as
the install, and when the dialog came up (when booted in XP), it offered an
upgrade install. Worked perfectly, and all the little gremlins seem to
have gone away.
