Thanks, Bob. However... of necessity, you must remember that you're addressing a networking ignoramus. I turned over every rock in this damn thing. Couldn't find a snake named NTLM. I found a few striped snakes named "authentication". But, no NTLM. Yes. NETBEUI still there. My wife's computer is on the same little network. She connects fine whether I'm in W2K or NT4.0. She's running NT4.0 her ownself. I'm gonna try ERD next. Or, do you think I'll pour a can of worms over my head if I do that. I've already "net use", "net view", "net stop", "net start, etc. from the CNC. Absent of JOY when computer is in W2k. Comes up roses in NT4.0. Any other thoughts?
