Looks like I,ve sent the same message several times in error. Sorry about 
that.
To send the command to the 8000 just type it in when in the Quickterm screen. 
In my case on the M7000 if I do a shift 1 (!) it will print the screen 
buffer. A " will print the status line. Your commands may be different. 
You have 10 macros that you can program and keep for sending commands to the 
terminal.
Thought I saw Jim Springer of Scancat on this echo before.  He could help you 
much better than I can.  If you call him or post to his BBS I'm sure he'll 
help.  He has replied to mail in the past. If you have access to Genie 
apparently he's accesable there.
