If you think that the colleges are going to require exposure to
programming as part of the undergraduate programs, I think you've got
another think coming (as my mother used to say) ;-)
In my personal opinion, if there is a topic (not necessarily
programming) that we want all students exposed to, it needs to come in
elementary school or else early in high school. Some kids never make it
to college.
