From: "Antti Kurenniemi" Nope. The must-insert-CD nonsense is the "copy protection", and is present in all games. Won't be fooled by that, but you can get no-cd cracks for just about any and all games (available 30 seconds after the game hits the stores) quite easily. For example: http://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads-cat-82.html for flight simulator. Just make sure you get the proper version. I download those for all the games I play, simply because my CD drive is noisy and slow, and I find it really annoying to swap the disks all the time. Just be careful, some of the sites are very virus/other malware loaded. Usually the Russian sites are pretty safe, but you'll have to do a bit of guessing with the file names if you don't know the language. Another thing you can do is get one of those virtual CD drivers, that will allow you to have an image on your HD look like a CD in a drive. I've never used them, but I think Roxio has one which is supposed to be pretty good. You can have as many ISO's on the HD as you want and just select which one you want to have in the "drive".
