More than likely, anywhere from 230-270 degrees.  On a lot of late model GMs, 
it's 255.
I get nervous when I see my temp anywhere above 200 though.  My engine (Ford 
351M) generally runs from 160-190 no matter how I'm driving it, and about 
200-210 in the summer when I'm rodding it.
