| subject: | EleBBS: Case Sensitivity Bug on Linux Port v0.09.g1+ |
------=_Part_15813_31714558.1146850587795 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Disposition: inline * EleBBS Support List I have been using ELEBBS for awhile now, tweaking and playing with it. I'm running Gentoo Linux 2006.0 Build (fairly up to date) I was never able to get the Q-A scripts to work. Anythign script related would just not work. I assumed I was doing soemthign wrong. Untill I came accross the solution by accident. Before I start tweaking source code, I want to make sure something has not already been done about it. Problem is with the case of the .Q-A files. I found that unless I have the following example ENTER.Q-A - In order for my system to see the script in all cases I must also have enter.Q-A enter.q-a ENTER.q-a If any of the case variations are missing, It's a crapshoot if the file will be found. After verifying that this solves my problem, I removed the copies, and created Symbolic links under linux, to allow easier editing of these files. IF this has been addressed with an source update, i'll be happy to just recompile, If not, I'll see what I can do about tweaking code myself.
