subject: Chevy temp sensor.

I was wondering if anyone knows at what tempurature does the sensor turn the
HOT light on the dash on? I have never had it come on and have since
replaced it with a guage and wondered what is actually considered "hot" ?
I have a 68 Chevy Impala 327 with a Small Block Chevy in it.
Was also wondering if anyone had any good ideas on how to fix small radiator
leaks that can't be fixed with a torch? I tried pouring some of that silver
stop-leak powder in, it fixed some of the leaks but has a bad side effect of
making the thermostat stick at 230 degrees for a few minutes after the
engine has warmed up. I don't want to tear the radiator apart and I can't
afford to have it fixed right now.
And last but not least does anyone know any good weather chants to make the
sun come out in Portland Oregon? :)
