Greetings August! A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, a coded message from August Abolins to All was intercepted... AA> Does anyone here use any of the UPSs in the Belkin line-up? Yup. I attached one of their 500VA models to my wife's PC a little over a year ago. No complaints here. At least once a week we get a brown-out, and it has smoothed things out admirably. I just checked it's log, hoping to find a "stress test" of sorts, but the longest power outage I could find noted was 8 seconds. :-) I must admit that one of the things which immediately impressed me with the Belkin unit, was the accompanying software. Toto, we're not just in Windows anymore. I haven't had the opportunity to try it yet, but it claims to have native Linux applications. -Don ...
