 In my view the 0-6 is an enumerated list of names, as is the 0-11.
 With 1-7 and 1-12 there will be a 0 element in the list that is never used.

 What you propose for days of the month would be an index 0-30 in to a list of
 numbers 1-31. There is no need for a list of enumurated list.
