MM> "You get what you can afford".
That's exactly right. Very good.
MM>Congratulations, you understand what "privilege" is now. Those who
>are born into families that can afford to pay their childrens
>college automatically have a huge leg up on those that can't
Exactly right again!!! Another simple concept: The world is *NOT* a
"fair" place. Not everybody is equal as far as income/wealth. Yup.
That's how it is, always has been, and always will be. Regardless of
how loudly you socialists/communists scream about it. Your vision of
"equality" for all has FAILED every time it's been tried. History
doesn't lie.
As for those who can't afford college for their kids, yes, they
can/should take out a loan to help with that. But only a loan that they
have an expectation of being able to pay back. If your kid can't go to
RPI or some other expensive school, send them to the local community
college or the state university. That's how it is. It's called "living
within your means".
Hope this helps you understand the reality of life!
