Thees, I've got a program that came, I think with the Win2K resource kit
called "associate", its a command line tool that allows one to
easily set up, delete, or change file associations.  I could email it to
you if you don't have a copy of the Win2K resource kit available somewhere.
 Haven't ever tried it on XP, but it works with Win2K and Win 98.  You
might even be able to download it free from microsoft.com.
