A very good question. Like Goldilocks, it will probably try all
that the USA, the EU, and Islam have to offer; I suspect it will
side with Iran / Libya / Syria etc, especially if it thinks that
the USA has outsmarted it as far as access to resources goes (&
the USA probably has outsmarted it).

Pakistan & India might get to use their nukes, on each other... the
USA & the coalition of the willing will be sorely tempted to intervene
& stop that happening, perhaps on the pretext that Pak will supply them
to al-Qaeda, or to prevent al-Q seizing them.

Bush & the rest of those pushing the "roadmap" are seeking to impose
a Palestinian state on Israel, whether it wants it or not. It may be
that the "carrot" is to allow Israel to build the Temple in exchange
for the Palestinian state. The Temple will be built; a very nasty
person will rule from it.

I saw an article attributed to "Israel Today" that claims that the
"Quartet" pushing the "roadmap" have drafted a proposal
to move the
seat of the UN from Manhattan to Baghdad, & to give it global military
& policing powers. I haven't been able to find corroboration for that
claim, but it would help the US create the illusion that it had rejected
the UN, while simultaneously increasing its powers.
