against Bruce Kamiat. His leader, John Pazmino, incessantly rants,
lies, makes sexual innuendos and the like. Some astronomy site!

No, this from the guy who posts more astronomy related material
here than anyone else, and who continually tries to stimulate what he
hopes will be interesting discussions. Most often these discussions
either end up being shallow and without substance, or they never get
off the ground at all. It's been this way here for as long as I can
remember. But while we're on this subject, how many astronomy
related items have you posted here, say, in the past 12 months? Don't
bother, I'll save you the trouble-- ZERO.

Thanks for all your productive efforts in helping to improve this
site Dan.

If you mean out in the garbage, Twelve.

Dan is back with more spiteful words. He's the fellow your AAA
dues props up. Well, the month is running our with no movement toward
alleviating the club's mindset. The warnings in NYC Events are still
valid until further notice.
right after this date, virtually all dialog spontaneously ceased,
There were a couple mild shots fired back and forth, then these
petered out. Thru the rest of October, NYSkies perked up with real
astronomy, plus the usual mix of cultural and City banter.
Speculations run wild. Did some one at AAA finally in private bang
heads together? Did the club get in trouble with some one bigger and
stronger than them? Did the club simply give up, like the Soviet
Union, seeing that its Stalinist theory no longer works?

Just a note about the AAA Seminar. The current Eyepiece - the journal the
the Amateur
Astronomers Association, is showing incorrect dates for these events.
The next session is for Nov. 10th only, then for Dec. 8th and 22nd.

And that was October! Two visitors came to the AAA's seminar on
November 3rd. NYSkies greeted them, handed out NYSkies flyers, invited
them to the NYSkies Seminar running on the same evening a half hour
later.
