Th Defiant project was dropped after the diminution of the Borg
threat.  When the Domino became a threat, it was dragged back onto
the burner -- we don't know whether or not any are in production
at this time.  At the time it was mothballed there was no further
need of it (& the class ship itself was the only one completed at
that point).
