RB> . Quoting Ron Taylor from a message to Ryan Bagueros .
RB>RB>That does NOT answer my point. Why do you deny that the cops could
treat
> >certain class of people differently than you?
RB>RT> Because.... maybe they don't?
RB>Answer yes or no: do you deny that the police in general would treat you
>differently than a young black youth and his friends?
You made that pretty general... enough so that it can't be answered
without doing some speculating.
If you are suggesting that the young black youth and his friends are
conducting themselves in the same manner that I am and presenting a
decent impression of themselves, damn right I deny that the police would
treat them differently.
If, however, the black youth and his friends are driving a vehicle
with all the windows darkened, playing their "system" so loud that
windows shake two blocks away, and do everything in their power to
insult and intimidate the citizenry as well as the police, then yes,
they will most definitely get treated differently than I will.
RB>RT> Are you suggesting that young black men commit less crimes than cops?
RB>No, you missed the point. The point was that it is irrelevant how many
>black cops there are.
The smoke is getting thick again. If you are saying that the fact that
there are more blacks in prison indicates that it is irrelevant how
many black cops there are, then yes, I missed the point. You ain't
making sense.
