Board of Directors of AAA Inc to discuss its situation. Could Haeberle
now swing to the side of reason and civility?

When did this new policy come into being, Tom(H). I was a member of
AAA for several years and can't remember ever being "encouraged" to
bring up various issues with the club's leadership. Discouraged, yes.
I didn't even know rank-and-file members were allowed at board
meetings. In any case, it's nice to hear that there's finally an
outlet for members to voice their opinions and/or complaints, and
that the club is moving forward in this regard.

Tom C.:
Get real. AAA board meetings have ALWAYS been open to members. If
they were closed, why would notices on meetings appear in the
Eyepiece calendar?

More of the attitude that infects the Board. Just when Haeberle
and maybe Rosenberg are trying to quiet things off, Harrison issues
insult and abrupt treatment. Did Haeberle slap Harrison down? Did
Rosenberg vow, 'agree', to bring his action to the next Board meeting?

*Bangs Head On Desk*
You see this is why when ppl ask me if I'm a member of "the astronomy
club" I tell them I'm not because they spend more time fighting
amongst themselves then anything else...
How about the Amateur Asshole Association.
Why is it so difficult to act like adults???
*hangs his head in shame*

Derek, my boy. I like your suggestion. Now if you or I were members
of the organization, we would apparently be free to make the
suggestion ourselves at the next board meeting, which of course is
open to all members, even the rank-and-file.

Derek, my boy (I guess you're under drinking age?) -- should I stoop
to your level and get vulger. Who's being the child here. I'm
corresponding with Tom (C) No one is asking you to read what we've
written -- just read on.

Compare the responses to Snow, not an AAA member, from Clabough
and Haeberle. Clabough was himself mistreated by club leaders in prior
years. Snow sprinkled his comment with humor but, man!, what a name to
call the club! Its leaders are NOT astronomers, after all!! Did Richy
Rosenberg send off an eviction threat to Snow?
