Continued from previous message.

Not knowing who else may have received similiar threats from him or
possibly some other AAA official, I thought it wise to post a general
warning for everyone considering attending the talk, which sounds
like a good one by the way.

 = = = =

That's how October started. Because of the practice asserted by club
leaders, it became plausible that visitors at AAA activities could
suffer or witness hostile or abusive conduct.

Tom C. - OK, I realize there is allot of bad blood between you and
Bruce, but it doesn't warrant this kind of posting. With all that's
going on in the world (e.g. -- terrorism), I don't think it is wise
for you to make these kinds of postings. It not only discourages
people from coming out to our lectures but also to the Museum as
well. These messages reflect badly on Nyskies and its members that
post these kinds of warnings such as "Abuse and Hostility". Be
assured there are others seeing these messages and are probably
saying to themselves how immature and irresponsible.

The bad feelings between you and Bruce are a personal matter, and one
that needs to be resolved between you and him. I find it hard to
believe that he would "approach" you, or that you would
"approach"
him. And I personally take offense by your constant attacks on AAA
board members; many of who have offered you nothing but kindness in
light of your personal family misfortunes. I'm asking you to use your
better judgement and kindly refrain from these attacks.

Tom(H), the threats Kamiat made to me was real enough that several list
members urged me to report them to the police. He wrote,

"By the way, don't approach me in the park again, Tom.
Just don't...".

And when I reminded the group of an earlier threat he made here on
nysky, in which he included the following direct link to a photo of
himself holding a gun while lurking in some decrepit and filthy old
hallway somewhere, he reissued the threat by saying,

"I'm glad you remember that, Tom. Keep it in mind."
"You never know who we might shoot!"
Here again is the photo: http://tinyurl.com/7h8f3

(the "approach"(es), btw, had been several earlier attempts I made at
making peace with the nut, despite all this)

But while we're on the subject, Tom(H), Richard Rosenberg stated in a
post here a little over a month ago that he felt the subject of board
members acting outrageously should be brought up at an official AAA
board meeting. He added that such behavior on the part of AAA
officials affected the organization negatively.

It's been more than a month now, Tom(H), could you please tell us
what progress, if any, has been made along these lines? And if there
hasn't been too much progress made, are there members of the board
unwilling to proceed with Richard's request?

Tom,
I can only control my own behavior. I certainly do not endorse
everything that has been said by AAA members on this group. I wish
all of those who have made personal attacks would realize how foolish
THEY look, instead of their target. And yes, the AAA is negatively
affected when this happens, and it should be brought up at a board
meeting.-Rich
