Agreed, John.
I can't say that I have difinitive *proof* that most teens don't
smoke, but I can say that I work for a transit company in
north central Texas and I drive several daily bus routes that
by last count handles over 250 middle school/high school
(no elementary) including an alternative route (gang members,
wanna-bes, felons, etc.) and I can count on one hand how many
of them smoke. I am a reformed smoker myself and since I quit
(two years ago) I have an uncanny sense of smell. I can smell
smoke on someone even if they haven't smoked for several hours
and I do trust my instincts.
