You've proved that you have a very short memory span.. I was telling

you that the words themselves are harmless/meaningless... it is HOW

THEY ARE USED that makes them racist.

Let me refresh your memory once again...   I also said (and you

agreed), that it is fine to go up to a mate and say "How ya going you

old bastard" and there will be no ill will..  yet if you go up to a

stranger and say the very same words you run the risk of offending

them.

The 'regulars' here are friends, we can get away with calling each

other "names" because we know there is little or no chance of them

taking offence.

You are a stranger here..  we don't know you, and if you wish to walk

that fine line without knowing who you are talking to then that is

your problem.

Call a mate an asshole and you'll get a hug...  call a stranger an

asshole and you'll get your teeth kicked in.

If this is being hypocrital then I'm a hypocrite..  but on that basis

we all are.

From our previous discussion you even agreed with this.



Why have you changed your tune?  You are becoming the female

equivilent of Rod Speed.

Because as per our previous discussion, it isn't what is said, it is

HOW it is said that is important.

You have merely proved that you have the memory span of a flea.



If you believe that *words* are offensive then there is simply no

hope/help for you.

When you realise that the words are unimportant, it is how they are

used that conveys their meaning then maybe you'll be able to remove

that chip from your shoulder and get on with life...  Heck, who knows,

maybe one day you'll even realise that some people do use the word

'abo' with no ill intent.
