Hey Larry,

You are correct about the non-existence of lag in the newer crop of digital
SLR's.  There is, of course, a lag in all SLR's but the digital versions do
not exhibit any more of a lag than their counterparts in the film world.  I,
for one, am enjoying using my new Canon EOS 10D which is giving me superb
images with excellent sharpness and great color.  I have printed directly to
13"x19" without making any changes other than to apply the unsharp mask in
PhotoShop with excellent results that stand up to close inspection.
