Salt? ... I am kinda new at this but I had never heard of putting salt
in the tank! :) ... What kind of fish are salt tolerant?
As an after note... :)
I have a 20gal tank with 2 large angels.(about 5" from nose to tip of
tail and about 5-6" from tip of top fin to tip of bottom fin), 3 gurami(SP?)
about 5" long and a pleco about 6-7" long. As well I have a fiddler crab
about the size of a quartar and an apple snale a bit bigger than a golf
ball. :)
I recently had a problem with a bacterial growth on the side the
angels head and on the back of the gurami... I did 6 treatments of triple-
sulfa and everything seem to start getting better. The growth on the angels
head had burst and is still an open sore. The scales around the sore have
yet to grow back (2 weeks later)... On the advise of a friend I have been
putting Polysporin on it every day and it seems to be getting better...
