I actually learned a little VB on my own and managed to code a simple
little GUI app, but I've used basic, quick basic, business basic so the
only thing I really had to adjust to was event driven vs procedural.

But C++ is what most of the exploits are coded in so I need to learn it in
order to decipher what some of these things are doing now that the
explanations are being kept secret (code I can find no problem but usually
it doesn't come from the discoverer).
