Yes, you'd think they would understand such a thing. I think they
actually do, but it pleases them to "poke the bear" and makes them think
they're somehow important and "worldly". It's easy to hate the top dog
in anything, be it sports or global politics. The only other
explanation that makes any sense is that they're............ stupid.

Sure enough. I think most of these Trump/USA haters are from countries
even smaller than that.
I think one of the main issues that makes these Euro-boys try to sound
smart (and tough) is that they're jealous of our freedoms and the whole
concept of "the American Dream". They don't have those things over
there in Euro-socialist-utopia-land and can't fully comprehend how great
those things are, and to what degree we will defend them.
Oh well, I've decided to pretty much stop trying to argue with them,
they've got their (small) minds made up already and dissing the USA is
all they've got left. I just laugh at them.
